Disclaimer

This site contains a lot of advice on a wide range of subjects ranging from health to finances to personal development to sustainable living. It must be emphasized, however, that I am not a registered nutritionist, fitness consultant, financial adviser or life coach and can therefore not be held liable for any adverse effects caused by the guidelines given in this project.

What I am is a research scientist trained in the art of collecting, interpreting and restructuring known information to come up with new and improved tools for solving problems facing society today. The world has never seen a bigger problem than the sustainability crisis we face today and, based on my experience in developing high-tech solutions to this crisis (CO2 capture systems), I can confidently say that the low-tech solutions advocated on this site (widespread personal lifestyle change) represent our one and only chance of getting through the 21st century unscathed.

I am sufficiently confident in the advice given on this site that I have implemented almost all of it into my own life with very positive results. These guidelines have allowed me to achieve a happy, healthy, wealthy and highly productive life while respecting the natural limits of our environment, our economy and our society. I’m confident that you can do this too and I am convinced that implementing these or similar lifestyle changes is the single most important thing that any of the billion wealthiest individuals on planet Earth can be doing right now.

  1. Dear Sir,
Thank you for the valuable information. I would like to copy your figure on energy subsidies into a copy I am now preparing “Economic Evaluation of Projects in the Electricity supply industry”. This is going to be published by the Institution of engineering and Technolgy in the UK. I kindly seek your approval for this,
    Best regards

  2. I absolutely admire your work here, and your lifestyle changes. You are a beacon unto everyone who contacts you.

I have not made all the changes i need to make on my 5 acres, though I live lightly on it and it is a relative wildlife sanctuary.

    When you state

” based on my experience in developing high-tech solutions to this crisis (CO2 capture systems),I can confidently say that the low-tech solutions advocated on this site (widespread personal lifestyle change) represent our one and only chance of getting through the 21st century unscathed.”

I must disagree, for the following reasons

    1. Already, we are not getting thru this 21st century unscathed,
though that is a mere quibble compared to what lies in the near future.

    2. We MUST derive a method of “Direct Air Capture” of CO2. (Reasons are at the site on page 2 if I recall. )

Would you please review “my” posting at http://www.EarthThrive.Net and critique it?

    I am David@EarthThrive.net.

    Thank you.
