Commenting on RRR’s international success, Edward said: “It’s great to be in an epic historical film like this. Seeing the role cut off! But all these challenges now seem too small and it was more than worth it. ”
When asked where he wants to take things from here, the American who built his home in Mumbai said, “I’m hungry to dive into more complex characters and it’s time to move on to a more diverse character. I got it. 13 years ago my I have received so much acclaim since I was nominated for Best Villain for the first TV series, ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’. But as an actor I have a lot more to give and I look forward to sharing with the audience. ”
“One of my favorite old movies is ‘Bawarchi’, where Rajesh Khanna plays the role of a family cook, Raghu, who has all these amazing skills that he uses to conquer and enrich the lives of the people around him. I want to use all my skills and talents to do that, “Edward shared.
“It may not sound like that when I’m on screen as a villain, but please believe that I’m the complete opposite in real life,” he smiled. “From now on, I am ready to use my softness in my acting.”
Edward’s pipeline has interesting projects such as Vikramaditya Motwan’s web series, ‘Stardust’ and two more YRF films, including Junaid Khan’s (Aamir Khan’s son) first film.
