‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ box office collection day 1: Ranveer Singh records a dull opening with just Rs 3 crore | Hindi Movie News

Ranbir Singh starrer ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ hit the screens on Friday and despite widespread publicity, the film failed to grab the attention of the viewers. Box Office India reports that the film had a very dull opening and recorded a net worth of around Rs 3 crore on its first day. ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ has met the same fate as other mid-budget movies released after the epidemic.

Despite directing a star movie like Ranbir Singh, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ could not record a huge opening. The film has topped the list of low scorers this year like Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ which earned Rs 3.19 crore on its first day and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Runway 34’ which earned Rs 3.08 crore on its first day.

On Saturday, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ is expected to show a positive trend and if it does, the collection should also be seen on weekdays. Directed by Dibang Thakkar, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ is a comedy drama which deals with issues like gender stereotype and female feticide. Speaking about his journey in film, Ranbir recently told BT, “I have always wanted to be known as a versatile actor. The way things have played out and the versatility I have been able to demonstrate is now being widely recognized. I hope it continues like this. For example, Jayeshbhai Zardari is a character you have never seen before and this is a new challenge for me. ”
