The hype surrounding actor Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is real.

Since the film was released today and will break box office records, it has now been revealed that the action-drama epidemic will be the most released for the next film. According to boxofficeindia.com, the Hindi dubbed version starring Yash has become the first to enjoy release on more than 4000 screens.

The Hindi version of the film has been allotted an estimated total of about 4,500 screens which has now turned it into a post-epidemic release and the fifth widest release of all time.

It also beat Akshay Kumar’s ‘Suryavanshi’ which was released across 3,600 screens. Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawari’ has also been released across 3,500 screens while Ranbir Singh’s ’83’ has received 3,400 screens.

The biggest blockbuster of 2022, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is still released across the low screen. The film, which grossed Rs 1,000 crore at the box office, has been released on 3,200 screens.

These numbers indicate that the films now have pre-epidemic numbers and can expect to achieve much larger releases.

KGF director Prashant Neel, who is returning with the second chapter of the acclaimed film, said the team never thought the first part of the movie would resonate so well with audiences across the country.

Written and directed by Neel, ‘KGF’, which refers to Kolar Gold Fields (Karnataka), is a story of Rocky (Yash), who rose from poverty to become the ‘King’ of gold mining.

The two-part multilingual film, the first chapter of which was released in 2018, has become the highest grossing film in the Kannada industry.

The director believes that the human element in the story, is an important aspect for a comprehensive entertainment. He believes it could work for the film. “The human element is the first thing we should put in a big movie. When you talk about a movie bigger than life, that human element brings everything together. For example, the way the characters behave, you should look humane. Time (human element) gave it a lot of prominence, ”the director told PTI.

The movie traces the history of gold mining and the mafia in the Kolar region of Karnataka. If pre-release rumors are to be believed, the film has already surpassed 2.5 million tickets in advance sales. It is followed by another South Indian film, the Tamil movie ‘Beast’, which has sold over 1.8 million tickets.
