In an interview with a news portal, Neetu said that in the past, the actors did not have Instagram or other social media accounts which allowed fans to have a big craze for them. According to him, besides the curiosity about the personal lives of the stars, there was also an urge to see them on screen.
In more detail, the veteran actress added that nowadays, actors have become more accessible as they regularly post updates and photos with fans and followers on Instagram. According to him, this has reduced the craze of fans to watch on screen. With all this in mind, Neetu thinks that Ranbir has done the right thing from a distance from Instagram.
Ranbir recently tied the knot with Alia Bhatt in an intimate wedding ceremony only in the presence of close friends and family members. Photos and videos of their dream wedding are still circulating on social media.
On the work front, Neetu will next be seen in Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jug Jio’ starring Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Ranbir, on the other hand, has ‘Brahmastra’ with Alia, next to Lav Ranjan with Shraddha Kapoor, ‘Pashu’ with Rashmika Mandana and ‘Shamshera’ with Bani Kapoor.
