Poco F3 GT Getting Android 12-Based MIUI 13 Update in India

The Poco F3 GT MIUI 13 is getting updates based on Android 12. The Poco handset was launched in India last July. After the unveiling, the Poco F3 GT MIUI 12.5 skin, based on Android 11, is out of the box. Earlier this month, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite users in India received the same MIUI 13 update. The latest skin update marks the second MIUI upgrade of Mi 11 Lite and its first Android version upgrade.

Poko has announced Update Through a tweet and users can get their updates from the Poko community webpage. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite received the same update a few days ago. With the new update comes a collection of new wallpapers on the smartphone and some layout improvements have been added to the notification panel.

Poco F3 GT Specification

On the specification front, the Poco F3 GT has a 6.67-inch Turbo AMOLED 10-bit display with HDR 10+ support, 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. There is also support for DC dimming. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The triple camera setup on the Poco F3 GT includes a 64-megapixel main camera (f / 1.65 aperture), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (119-degree field-of-view), and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The main sensor is made of an ED (extra-low scattering) glass that is commonly used in DSLR lenses for greater clarity of images. The camera module has a tactical RGB glow and a flash module like an electric flash. The front has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Poco F3 GT 67W packs a 5,065mAh battery with fast charging support. The company claims that the phone will be half charged in just 15 minutes. It is IP53 rated for dust and water protection. It includes three microphones for better voice quality while gaming. It supports Wi-Fi gaming antenna, X-Shock with precise haptic response and vibration, a GT switch and a maglev trigger.

Features a large steam chamber and space-grade white graphene heat sink for better heat dissipation. The phone supports Hyperengine 3.0 which provides ray tracing capability. Features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atoms support. For security, the Poco F3 GT has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
