Sanjay Dutt opens up about shooting ‘difficult’ climax for ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ while battling lung cancer | Hindi Movie News

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has set foot in many characters over the years, but no one has come close to impressing his “insensitive” character in ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.

As he prepares for the release of the film, Dutt talks about his experience shooting the film while battling cancer. Talking about his diagnosis of lung cancer in 2020, he said the team was very ‘focused’. After extensive treatment, the actor resumed work and was happy that the producers “did their best to make me comfortable,” he told Mid-Day.

He went on to reveal, “They suggested shooting it as opposed to a green screen. But as an actor, it was important to me to shoot this film properly. We had a great vision for it. The climax had to be mounted in a big way. There was a climax – there was mud, dust, fire and a lot of action. I couldn’t have done that shooting without their help. ”

Speaking about playing a heartless opponent named Adhir, Dutt said, “He is threatening, but at the same time, humane. [to some]. There is a lot of impatience from the energy that Yash and I have brought in each scene. What a genius he is! ”

He added that he has returned with new strength after battling cancer and thanked his fans for saying, “Thank you to my fans for their prayers.”
