We love all street food in India, but samosas hold a special place in our hearts. Each bite of a fried potato-filled snack illuminates our mood. Our tea-time dish, the samosa, is something no one can say (or, at least, don’t want to say). Although potato is found all over the country for its obvious stuffing, many people prefer to experiment with other ingredients like cheese and peas. However, one thing remains the same – the pleasant crunch on the outside and the burning, spicy filling on the inside. You’ve seen and tasted many versions of samosas, but it surprised us. Spicy Cashew Samosa – Did you know about this version of samosa?

The YouTube channel ‘Food Fatafat’ has introduced us to this brand new incarnation which is made with crunchy and creamy cashew nuts, decorated with chutney spice powder. It sounds so good, imagine how it would taste ?! This samosa was discovered at Shagun Suites in Ghaziabad and in the video blogger shows the whole process of making it.

Watch the video on how to make masala kaju samosa: in a large machine that automatically grinds the flour, with the flour, peanut oil and water. When the flour is lightly kneaded, take it out in a big bowl. The cashews are then fried in oil until golden brown, for about 15 minutes. Cashews are removed with the help of a sieve and excess oil is removed. Then a special samosa seasoning is added to the fried cashews with spices like black pepper powder, dried chutney, salt and many other ingredients. After that, the flour is divided into small pieces and rolled, and each cashew is stuffed with spices and folded to make samosa. After all, these are deep-fried to make crispy, spicy samosas.
